The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory is an extremely popular television show with personable character such as Sheldon Cooper, Howard Wolowitz, Raj Koothrappali, and Leonard Hofstadter. A group of super intelligent friends work their way through the world of science. Actors Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Kevin Sussman, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and others entertain on the sitcom. The friends are all physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology. More importantly, it is also a very important study and explanation for the birth of the universe. This explanation for the creation of the universe has been studied for years by some of the greatest minds to ever live.

It is thought that around 13.7 billion years ago, there was a zone in space called a singularity. A singularity in Physics is a concept that cannot be rationalized or explained. It is a possibility that a black hole was born in a singularity. This theory has been much studied.

This seed of an universe began simply as a tiny and dense matter. It began to grow and to change in temperature with time. Then it began to get incredibly hot in temperature. Consequently the universe as we know it began. This explanation of a singularity is what is known as The Big Bang.

Note that there were no big explosions or great masses of flaming fire trailing across the skies as the universe was formed. And also understand that the singularity in itself is unexplainable 100% by the majority of people. Some of the minds that have explored the concept of The Big Bang Theory are Stephen Hawking, George Ellis, Roger Penrose, Edwin Hubble, Robert Wilson, and Arno Penzias. The theory has taken into consideration and has modified Einstein’s famous Theory of Relativity in an attempt for an explanation.

It is an explanation that relies upon a concept that is defined as a being unable to be rationalized or explained. A singularity is what we know to be at this moment, but there is never an end to science and the exploration. The idea that our universe never existed is a hard grasp to comprehend or appreciate. Keep in mind that The Big Bang Theory is defined as an explanation of the creation of our universe as defined by a singularity and a black hole. And The Big Bang Theory is also a very popular television show that debuted in 2007.
